Observing Reactions

A few weeks ago we observed some reactions. Mrs Malaulau created this presentation so that we could document our work. I learnt that when a substance turns jelly like it is called precipitate. I also learnt that acids dissolve metals which causes fizzing. Finally I learnt that vinegar does not have a scientific element name.

Periodic Table

Over the past few weeks we have been studying the periodic table of elements. Mrs Malaulau made a presentation so we can learn more about the first twenty elements. We also had to memorise the first twenty so it was easier to study them. I learnt that there are multiple different types of elements such as metals, non metals and metalloids. I also learnt that every element was discovered at a different time. Finally I learnt that there are only two liquids in the whole periodic table.
